BRINGING HOPE AND HEALING TO COMMUNITIES IN NEED
Mint For More is a dedicated partner of Dustin's Dream, a non-profit based in Siloam Springs, AR.
We participate in carrying out impactful mission trips that are aimed at providing essential dental care
to under-resourced communities in Guatemala City. Initiated in 2018 through Mint Dental Care,
our Dental Missions project has grown into a biannual initiative, reflecting our commitment to
both community service and professional development.
These mission trips offer a unique opportunity for our dental staff to expand their skills while making
a tangible difference in the lives of those in need of dental care. Each trip is carefully planned to deliver
dental services, from routine check-ups and cleanings to more complex treatments, ensuring that
our patients receive the care they need to improve their oral health and overall well-being.
Our collaboration with Dustin's Dream allows us to enrich our staff’s professional experience and foster personal growth, all while addressing a critical need in Guatemala City. Through these missions,
we not only enhance the dental health of the communities we serve but also strengthen the skills
and dedication of our team, embodying the core values of collaboration, empowerment,
and Ohana that drive Mint For More.
Guatemala 2025
In July of 2025, our Mint For More team had the privilege of traveling to Guatemala to serve a community that quickly found its way into our hearts. Over the course of the week, we connected with 265 incredible patients, each with their own story and need for care.

Our team worked side by side to provide 384 extractions, 122 cleanings, and other much-needed treatments — many of which brought immediate relief from pain and made a lasting difference. Altogether, we were able to provide an estimated $208,190 worth of donated dental care.
​
But the impact of this trip goes far beyond numbers. We left with full hearts, a renewed sense of purpose, and a deep appreciation for the strength and resilience of the people we met. We are so proud of our team and grateful for the opportunity to serve — and we carry the faces and stories of Guatemala with us every day.
Guatemala 2024
In June and July of 2024, the Mint For More team had the incredible opportunity to serve the people of Guatemala once again. Over the course of our trip, we provided critical dental care to 289 patients, helping improve their health and quality of life.

Our team addressed a wide range of needs, completing 383 extractions and performing cleanings for 166 patients. The total value of care delivered during this mission reached an estimated $183,145—a reflection of the deep impact that compassionate care can make.

We’re honored to continue this important work and grateful for the chance to serve.
In June and July of 2023, our Mint For More team had the privilege of returning to Guatemala to serve the local community. During our time there, we provided vital dental care to 225 patients, making a lasting impact on their oral health.
​
Our team performed 354 extractions and completed cleanings for 24 patients, addressing a broad range of dental needs. Altogether, the estimated value of the care we delivered totaled $113,006—reflecting the meaningful difference made through this mission.
Guatemala 2022
In June 2022, the Mint For More team traveled to Guatemala with a shared mission: to provide essential dental care to a community in need. Over the course of our time there, we were honored to treat 132 patients, each visit contributing to improved oral health and overall well-being.

Our team addressed a wide range of dental concerns, completing 251 extractions and providing cleanings for 12 individuals. The total value of the care we delivered amounted to an incredible $86,374—reflecting both the scope of the services and the heart behind our mission.

Guatemala 2021
In June of 2021, our team from Mint For More, had the privilege of serving the community of Guatemala. During our time there, we saw a total of 159 patients, providing essential dental care and making a significant impact on their oral health.
​
Our efforts included completing 366 extractions and performing cleanings for 63 patients, addressing a wide range of dental needs. The collective value of the services we provided reached a total of $108,102!
Guatemala 2019
In the summer of 2019, we returned to Guatemala for our second mission trip, building on the success of our initial visit and deepening our commitment to providing essential dental care. This trip was particularly special as it marked the beginning of a new tradition initiated by Dr. McCord. He started bringing new employees from Mint Dental Care along on these mission trips, offering them a unique opportunity to contribute to our ongoing efforts while immersing themselves in the transformative experience of serving in Guatemala.

The focus of our mission remained on delivering crucial dental services, including extractions and cleanings, to those in need. As we once again began treating patients, it was clear that the need for our services was as great as ever. Each procedure not only alleviated immediate dental issues but also highlighted the profound impact we could have on the community's overall health and well-being!
Guatemala 2018
In the summer of 2018, we embarked on a transformative journey to Guatemala, a trip that would lay the foundation for an annual tradition. Our destination was Guatemala City, where we dedicated our time and skills to providing much-needed dental care to the local community.

Our mission focused on performing extractions and dental cleanings, essential services for many who lacked access to regular dental care. The smiles we encountered were a testament to the importance of our work. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and gratitude of the patients made every effort worth it. The experience was both humbling and inspiring, as we witnessed firsthand the impact of our services on the health and well-being of those we served.

This initial trip was more than just a series of dental procedures; it was the beginning of a meaningful commitment. The success and fulfillment we found in Guatemala ignited a passion for continuing this vital work. As a result, our visit evolved into an annual tradition. Each summer since 2018, we have returned to Guatemala, reinforcing our dedication to improving dental health and nurturing the bonds we have formed with the community.
